We are all familiar with the benefits of music education. From language development, encouraging a sense of spatial intelligence, developing creative skills, exposure to social empathy and problem solving, the benefits are countless. I wholly believe that music makes humans happy, emotional, excited (and sometimes angry), stirs memories, brings us together and allows us to communicate in a way only possible to humans. Life and a world without music are quite unthinkable. The ability to physically and mentally be part of a music learning and music-making process is something that enriches lives and the benefits are carried with one throughout life.
To find out more about why music education is beneficial you can read this very interesting article by Dr. Carolyn Phillips author of the book "Twelve Benefits of Music Education".
